Job Summary
Temperate Heating Ltd is an established independent plumbing and heating merchant which has been providing a high level of service to both trade and retail customers for over 50 years, with two branches in Medway and Gravesend.

We are recruiting for a Sales assistant/ Delivery Driver, working between our branches and delivering products in and around the local area and sometimes further afield. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in various environments and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build effective working relationships with customers, to understand their requirements.
• Provide accurate information about products, answering any questions customers may have.
• Dealing with loading and unloading stock
• Using POS Software system
• Liaise with suppliers where necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organised counter areas.
• Undertaking deliveries in company vehicle
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the company

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including Saturdays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Requirements:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
• Full clean valid manual UK Drivers licence over 25 years of age (Essential)
