About The Role

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Schools and Events Officer to join our Marketing and Student Recruitment team to deliver engaging workshops, activities, and events across East Kent.

As a Schools and Events Officer, you will visit schools across the region, helping to raise awareness of post-16 study options and inspire the next generation through interactive workshops and taster sessions.

You will also support community events and activities, and deliver Open Days across East Kent Colleges Group's family of Colleges in Ashford, Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone and Sheppey.

The role includes frequent travel around our communities and a large amount of collaboration with a range of colleagues from our Colleges and Training Centres, as well as external stakeholders from a range of professions.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a Schools and Events Officer who is a confident and enthusiastic communicator with excellent creative and interpersonal skills.

You will be required to travel around East Kent to meet with both internal and external stakeholders, alongside delivering a wide range of engaging initiatives to learners in a range of settings. Experience creating and delivering engaging presentations or workshops, and/or working with young people would be an advantage.

You will have fantastic organisational and administrative skills, enjoy working in a small team and meeting new people alongside a good attention to detail.
