About The Role
An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Commercial team at EKC Group, for a Sous Chef to work in Anne’s Restaurant, a brand-new eatery in Folkestone, which opened last November.
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and talented Sous Chef who demonstrates consistency and has vision to assist our kitchen team with taking this Restaurant forward into a popular destination for the area through providing excellent culinary skills.
As a Sous Chef you will assist with the smooth running and delivery of all food service areas across the Restaurant supporting the Head Chef with day to day management of the kitchen, whilst ensuring all food service employees are aware key standards for service whilst working closely with the front of house team. You will work within our kitchen across all key day parts servicing lunches and dinners.
Each EKC Group Commercial team member is expected to act as an ambassador for our brands and businesses delivering outstanding customer experiences all day every day. Your task is to assist the team to provide personal and confident customer experiences and ensure the team are both happy in their work whilst ensuring that you consistently deliver exceptional products to your customers. You will use your extensive skills to engage with students who will work within the kitchen with the core team as part of their work experience programme.
The successful candidate will have a passion for food and attention to detail who can display an ability to work well under pressure. You will ideally have experience of leading a team and have worked in a Sous or Senior Sous position for at least a year within a restaurant or hotel business.
